How long your website takes to build will depend on which platform we develop your site on, the complexity of functionality required, if you require an ecommerce or online booking component, and if you need our team to complete the copywriting for you or take/ organize professional photography of your team or products. Clients seeking simple ‘brochure style’ sites can generally expect a turnaround of 1 – 2 weeks, while ecommerce or bookings sites can take from 4-8 weeks. We’ll give you a clear idea of turnaround time based on our team’s availability and the scope of your project before we get underway.

You’re welcome to provide copy to help reduce the cost of your website build, however we highly recommend adding a copywriting component into the scope of your website budget to help with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), engagement and usability. Our Word Nerd is a qualified journalist and feature writer with a flair for writing for the web and creating punchy, compelling copy that really resonates with readers. Clients often find that working with our professional copywriter is faster, easier and more cost effective than spending hours trying to come up with the perfect content themselves.

Nope. Not only because anti-spam laws mean that you should only ever email contacts who have agreed to receive your newsletters/ special offers/ updates, but because emailing a list you haven’t built organically is generally going to result in a poor rate of engagement and conversion, and ultimately be a waste of budget.

Websites: Our standard payment terms include a 50% deposit upon the commencement of your website, and the remaining 50% paid on completion, prior to going live. We do also offer payment plans for those wanting to spread the costs out, just ask us about this!

Monthly Marketing: For our Monthly services, including AdWords & Facebook, Advertising & Management, invoices are sent at the end of the month, following completion of the service. Payment is required within 7 days of invoice unless prior arrangement.

One-off Jobs: Design, Signage & any one-off service is invoiced on completion. Payment is required within 7 days of receipt.

Yes! We know how hard it can be for smaller businesses and start-ups to invest in their marketing – but also just how important marketing is for those businesses to begin building a solid revenue stream! – which is why we offer flexible payment plans on application. If you are interested in paying off the cost of your project outside of our standard payment terms, please be sure to discuss this with us before the commencement of work.

Our pricing is based on the number of hours it takes our team to create work that makes your team look awesome online. For this reason, we tend not to discount our valuable services – however, we can build customized packages for clients requiring multiple services on long term and on-going projects.

No way, Jose! We want all of our clients to feel confident that we’ll deliver the best possible results time after time, which is why we work on a no lock in contract basis. This gives you the freedom to cancel our services at any time, in the very unlikely event that you’re not happy with the results we’re providing. We also understand that circumstances and priorities can change at any time, so we’re more than happy to put services on hold and resume work when you need us again.

Because we create and schedule much of our work in advance, we do request that clients notify us of any change or cancellation in service at least 14 days in advance.

No problem at all! We regularly partner with many complementary businesses, creatives, freelancers and agencies and are happy to work in with your existing team and network.

We’d love to! If you’d like to DIY or bring some of your marketing initiatives in-house once we’ve set them up for you, we would be more than happy to provide your team with the training they’ll need to action those marketing tactics and work towards great results.

A very good question – we like that you’re as focused on results as we are! How your results are measured will depend largely on the service we’re providing, but we will discuss this with you prior to project commencement. We provide overviews and detailed reports on Facebook, Instagram, website analytics, Facebook ads, AdWords and Pay Per Click campaigns, depending on the amount of information you require. For offline marketing, we’ll determine the best way to measure and report on results before getting started.

You obviously have extremely good taste, so that’s a big YES from us! We work with organisations all over New Zealand – often remotely and via Skype etc – so working with international clients is no problem at all. Our standard hours of service are 8:30am – 5:00pm NZDT (New Zealand Daylight Time/1300 UTC) but we are happy to be flexible and meet remotely outside of these times as agreed.
